Postcard illustrating three postal scales from the Canadian Museum of Civilization, used to weigh packages to calculate postage rates. The scale in the foreground, equipped with a pendulum mechanism, was put into service in Alberta in 1925. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Canada Post' and correspondence to the City of Montreal, Finance Department, with a Canada 39 stamp canceled in Beauport on 20 July 1980.
