Description

Postcard showing a carnival float in Aix-en-Provence, decorated with costumed characters and pulled by horses adorned with white garlands. The printed text indicates participation in the Carnival XVII with the theme 'Satan in a Ballade' and the mention of the 1st prize. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame H. Estiglioni in Mazargues, with a 22-centime postage stamp and a Marseille cancellation dated May 22, 1903.
