Description

View of an Egyptian village with stone and brick buildings, inhabitants in traditional attire, and a tree in the foreground. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated April 24, 1916, addressed to 'My dear friend,' mentioning a visit to 'Marie' and a 'small definitive' to send. The postmark is canceled and bears the number 11 30251.
