View of the Romanesque cloister of the cathedral in Aix-en-Provence, dating from the 11th century, with its columns and round arches. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to 'Madame Caroline', dated 4/5-15, with a mention of 'Préjus' and a signature 'Raphaël'.
