Description

Black and white view of the Mäuseturm, a fortified-style tower located on the banks of the Rhine, with vineyard slopes in the background and a passenger boat. The reverse has handwritten text dated February 1919, addressed to a recipient in Bingen on the Rhine, mentioning tobacco parcels and a request for cigarettes. A postage stamp is visible in the top right corner, with partial cancellation.
