Colorized view of the Iron Tower in Mainz, with surrounding buildings and a few people in the square. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 29 October 1924, addressed to 'Dear Sainte', mentioning a stay in Mainz and a new address at Loyer R. 8, Port de base. The stamp and cancellation are not visible.
