Illustration of two women in traditional Alsatian costumes, one standing with a black cap and scarf, the other seated with a white bonnet, in front of a landscape with a bridge and the sun. Printed text reads 'ALSACE-LORRRAINE'. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Bally-Carffem, Caluire-et-Cuïre, with a postmark and cancellation stamp of 'CALUIRE-ET-CUIRE' dated 4/15 MA (May 1895).
