View of the Amboise Castle, dating from the 15th century, with the Loire to the east, in black and white. Printed text in French and English at the bottom of the image. Reverse: French 20-centime postage stamp, postmark from Châtellerault dated 26 April 1935, handwritten address to Monsieur Genaille at the military school in Autun, and a correspondence stamp.
