View of the castle of Angers with its seventeen towers, dated around 1937. The printed text refers to its construction under Philippe-Auguste and its completion under Saint-Louis. The reverse features a long handwritten violet letter addressed to 'My dear' and signed 'Your loving J.', with a partially visible cancellation stamp.
