View of Sainte-Croix Square in Angers, highlighting the Adam House, a timber-framed building. Several people are visible on the paved square, including a group of men in suits and a dog near a cart. On the reverse, a handwritten address sends the postcard to 'Monsieur Bouffard' in Parthenay, with a postage stamp and a cancellation from Havré (Sèvres) dated September 13, 1914.
