Devastated view of Arras after the bombings of World War I 1914-15, showing the ruins of the Belfry and the Town Hall. Printed text at the top of the card indicates number 287 and publisher A.R. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated April 5, 1915, addressed to Mr. Léonard in Magny-l'Abbaye, with a note about the prohibition of correspondence on the front for certain foreign countries.
