Description

View of the Saint-Germain Church in Auxerre, with its Romanesque tower and remarkable remains, reflected in a river. The printed text indicates that the old abbey was transformed into a hospital and normal school, and that the nave no longer exists. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated October 19, 1910, addressed to Mrs. Roger in Beaune, mentioning the postcard sent from Auxerre.
