Black and white view of the banks of the Cousin in Avallon, with a stream below and rocky cliffs in the background. The back features handwritten correspondence dated August 17, 1929, addressed to Mrs. Pierre Le Vernel in Deauville, with a blue stamp and a circular postmark from Avallon.
