View of the church in Ay-Champagne, Marne, with its imposing spired steeple and Gothic portal. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 13 October 1939, addressed to Mme Victor Dusse in Plongeonat (Côtes-du-Nord), with a stamp and a Génie (Marne) cancellation.
