View of the casemates of the Château de Lassay in Bagnolles-de-l'Orne, with a woman in a long dress and hat in front of stone arches covered in ivy. On the reverse, handwritten message: 'Souvenir — To Mars' and address to Madame Batide Chenet in Rochefort-en-Yvelines. Green 5-centime stamp, postmark from Sainte-Croix-sur-Loire (Loiret) dated April 18, 1913.
