Black and white panoramic view of a lake surrounded by forests and a large building in the distance, taken from a rocky promontory. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated March 1920, addressed to 'My dear Louise', sent from the Christof Hotel in Bagnolles-de-l'Orne, with a 25-centime postage stamp and a cancellation mark.
