Description

Black and white view of the Gate of Brisach, a fortified gate built by Vauban, with an arched passage framed by columns and a carved coat of arms. On the reverse, a French postcard dated 1942, stamped with 15 centimes, addressed to Mrs. A. France in Verdun, with a handwritten inscription: 'A greeting from Belfort. Everything is fine. Best regards. Vichmond'.
