Description

View of the facade of the Palace of Justice in Besançon, dated to the Renaissance period (1582-1585) according to the plans of architect Hugues Sambin. The printed text at the bottom indicates its role as the seat of the former Parliament. Reverse: handwritten correspondence addressed to M. G. Gregoire in Chatelloy (Marne), with a 20-centime postmark and a cancellation stamp from Maurepas dated 21-06-1906.
