View of the Rostral Columns in Bordeaux, with two columns adorned with statues and anchors, facing a lively port with sailing ships. Printed text at the bottom: 'BORDEAUX. — The Rostral Columns. — LL.' and a red stamp 'République Française' at the top left. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Angèle Delsers in Auch, Gers, with a postal stamp and a cancellation stamp from Girona (Spain) dated 11 May 1902.
