View of the Monument des Girondins in Bordeaux, with an angel statue on top of an obelisk, surrounded by a park and trees, against the backdrop of the city and a river. The back carries a handwritten letter dated 24 June 1923, sent from Bordeaux to Paris, with a 10-centime green stamp and a postmark.
