Description

Aerial view of Brienne-le-Château castle, built between 1770 and 1778 by architect Jean-Louis Fontaine on the site of the former Cardinal de Lomenie de Brienne castle. The printed text states that the estate has remained in the same family for nearly a thousand years, with Prince Eugène de Bauffremont as the current owner. The back features a handwritten address to Paris and a 10-centime French stamp canceled in Brienne-le-Château on 10 October 1930.
