Description

Monument to the sailors of the Pluviose who died for the fatherland, represented by a sculpture of an eagle on a wrecked ship. Text engraved on the base: "TO THE SAILORS OF THE PLUVIOSE WHO DIED FOR THE FATHERLAND". Back: dated correspondence from 15 September 1913, addressed to Madame Lafay in Paris, with a 5-centime green stamp and a Calais postmark.
