Description

French military correspondence postcard dated around 1914–1918, used by a soldier at the Corps Depot in Versailles, expressing nostalgia for his home and requesting civilian clothing from the recipient. The reverse contains a response from the recipient, mentioning that he is on leave and cannot send shoes, but will send undergarments. The publisher is 'Impr. Nat.' and the model is A². The stamp and cancellation are visible on the reverse.
