Description

View of the ruins along the Palazzata in Messina after the 1908 earthquake, with collapsed buildings, rows of barrels, and people among the rubble. On the reverse, a handwritten address to Mach Tillier in Vizigne aux Bois (Ardennes-France), Italian 5 centesimi stamps, and a postmark from Messina dated 31.5.1909.
