Black and white view of Cassis beach with coastal buildings and a castle on a rocky cliff. The reverse has handwritten text dated August 18, 1930, mentioning a visit to Cassis accompanied by J. Tammet-Dépieu to Nîmes, and an address to Madame Éthier in Paris. A French postage stamp from 1930 is affixed, with a cancellation 'PARIS' and a note 'AUTHENTIC PHOTOGRAPH PROHIBITED'.
