Description

Postcard showing the wrecks of the ship "Liberté" (14,868 tons) after its disaster on September 25, 1911 at 5:35 am in the harbor of Toulon, causing about 400 victims. On the reverse, a green 5-cent stamp, postmark of Toulon-Vallon dated October 17, 1911, and a handwritten address to M. B. Bratteaux in Paris.
