Description

Black and white panoramic view of the Mer de Glace glacier in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, framed by snow-capped mountains. The printed text at the bottom of the card reads '96. CHAMONIX-MONT-BLANC, Mer de glace — LL'. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Évian-les-Bains, with an 8 franc stamp and a cancellation dated 16 May 1945. The handwritten address is directed to the Guilleret family in Paris.
