Interior of a chapel in Avermes, showing a sculpted group of the Virgin with Child surrounded by flowers and candles, with several women in period attire praying. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated September 4, 1918, addressed to a 'dear Lady', signed by Georges Vorge, mentioning a reunion in Châlons-sur-Marne and a departure for Basel.
