Description

View of the Porte Guillaume in Chartres, with a pedestrian and equestrian passage, flanked by a tobacconist and a refreshment stand. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated 27 March 1919, addressed to 'My dear Mémie', mentioning received postcards and letters from Jeannette from years 14 and 18, as well as events related to the war.
