Panoramic view of the Gothic cathedral in Chartres, with its two emblematic spires and central rose window, dominating an urban landscape. On the reverse, the publisher FL. HOUVE is printed at the bottom, and an 8 franc stamp is canceled with a circular postmark from Chartres R.P. dated 16 June 1952. The handwritten address is intended for Mrs. Guy in Saint-Chamond (Loire).
