Description

Black and white view of the river Eure at Chartres, with old houses with closed shutters and a bridge in the background. In the distance, the silhouette of the cathedral is visible. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 20 August 1933, addressed to 'Bons Caissiers', and a violet stamp from the Chartres post office.
