View of the entrance to Mesnières Castle with its two round towers with conical roofs and its wrought-iron gate. Printed text at the top: 'CHATEAU DE MESNIÈRES — The Entrance to the Castle'. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated 7 July 1916, addressed to a 'dear friend', mentioning that the sender is in convalescence at the hospital and that the Association of French Ladies is very well.
