Description

Black and white view of the entrance to the fortress castle of Châteaubriant, dated the 11th century, with its stone towers and arched passage. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Perferne in Rennes, with a 5-centime postage stamp and a cancellation from Châteaubriant (Loire-Inf.) dated August 11, 1909.
