Description

Black and white aerial view of a village nestled in a mountain fold, with a church and tiled-roof houses. In the foreground, a black and white cow grazes on a grassy slope. The reverse indicates that the location is a spa town at 751 m altitude, with a French description and a handwritten address for the Roman-Busquin family in La Varenne Saint-Hilaire. An 8 franc stamp is affixed, and the Cantal cancellation of June 22, 1954, is visible.
