View of the keep of the Cherveux castle, dated 15th century, surrounded by dense vegetation. Printed text at the bottom of the front identifies the location and publisher. Reverse: 20-cent postage stamp, partially legible postmark, handwritten address to Madame de Modieu in Crétail (Seine), and sender's handwriting reading 'Bons Souvenirs'.
