Black and white view of the medieval fortifications of Carcassonne Castle, highlighting a round tower and a pointed-arch gate. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Monsieur Porteu, Director of Halas in Rodez, with a 2 franc French postage stamp and a cancellation from Raulu dated May 27, 1907.
