Description

View of the Amboise fountain, a beautiful Gothic structure built in 1515 by the bishop of Clermont, originally placed in the cathedral and later moved in 1858 to Delille Square. The reverse side bears a handwritten address for Mme Élise Bith and Edmande at Gif Station, with a 25-cent postage stamp and a postmark from Clermont-Ferrand dated July 24, 1929.
