View of the Gate of Laon at Coucy-le-Château in the Oise, showing an imposing stone fortified gate with arches and battlements, flanked by old buildings, one of which displays 'Boulangerie'. The reverse has handwritten text dated October 19, 1914, addressed to Madame Briossard in Saint-Brice-sous-Forêt, with a 10-centime postmark and a cancellation from Saint-Brice-sous-Forêt.
