View of the beach at Coutainville with wicker beach huts, promenaders and swimmers on the sand, bordered by a quay and lampposts. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated 18 August 1961, sent from Coutainville to Brest, with a 25 centime French stamp and a postmark from Coutances-Manche.
