Interior view of the refectory of the Grande Chartreuse convent, with its arched vaults and panelled walls. Three monks in robes are depicted near long tables covered with white tablecloths, in front of a crucifix in the background. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Cliché T' and presents a cancelled postmark from Saint-Nicolas-d'Aliermont (S. re) with a censorship mark.
