The reverse indicates the sender Surnora Kumar Jain from Jabalpur, with a postmark from Jabalpur dated February 23, 1944. A 35 annas stamp is affixed at the top right. The reverse also features an inscription in Hindi and English: 'Untouchability is a crime against God and man.'
