The reverse bears the recipient's address, the recipient's name and address (Gajendra Behara, Senior Engineer, Public Health, Seemabadda), as well as a 35 annas postage stamp and a circular cancellation from Calcutta. The reverse also features an inscription in Hindi and English: 'UNTTOUCHABILITY IS A CRIME AGAINST GOD AND MAN'.
