Pale blue Indian interior postcard dated around 1940, franked with a violet 35 annas stamp with cancellation. Handwritten address to the Institution of Engineers (India) in Calcutta. Reverse: printed text in English and Hindi denouncing untouchability as a crime against God and man, with an Indian postmark and a note 'NO ENCLOSURES ALLOWED'.
