Pale blue Indian interior postcard, franked with a violet 35 annas stamp depicting a peacock. Handwritten English address to the Director General of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Calcutta. The reverse features an inscription in Hindi and English: 'Untouchability is a crime against God and man', accompanied by a circular postmark from Jharsuguda dated 9 March 1953, and brown stains.
