Indian inland postcard (Inland Letter Card) dated around 1950, franked with a violet 35 annas stamp. Intended for the Institution of Engineers (India) in Calcutta, with PIN code 700020. The back carries the recipient's address, the recipient's name Jitendra Singh in Gorakhpur (U.P.) with PIN code 273001, and a circular postmark from Gorakhpur. The inscription 'UNTOUCHABILITY IS A CRIME AGAINST GOD AND MAN' is printed at the bottom of the back.
