Indian interior postcard from 1947, published by the Indian Post, franked with a violet 35 annas stamp featuring an ornate design. The back has an inscription in Hindi and English: 'TOUCHABILITY IS A CRIME AGAINST GOD AND MAN', accompanied by a portrait of Gandhi. The handwritten address is directed to the Secretary and General Director of the Institution of Engineers in Calcutta. The sender is Ganganj, with PIN code 121006.
