Interior Indian Postcard — Department of Posts, Calcutta — 35 years stamp

Description

Interior Indian postcard dated around 1947, addressed to the Secretary of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Calcutta. The reverse shows the recipient's address, the recipient's name D.K. Sharma in Patiala, and a Calcutta postmark. The reverse also features an inscription in Hindi and English: 'Untouchability is a crime against God and man', accompanied by an image of Gandhi and a Calcutta postmark.
