Indian interior postcard from 1940, stamped 35 annas, addressed to the Secretary of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Calcutta. The reverse has an inscription in Hindi and English: 'Untouchability is a crime against God and man', accompanied by a postage stamp with a portrait of Gandhi and a postmark from Satara. The sender is B.B. Kulkarni from Warwade, Sangli district, Maharashtra.
