Interior Indian postcard dated around 1950, addressed to the Secretary and Director of the Institute of India (Engineers) in Calcutta. The reverse indicates the sender J.T. Peerjade, Irrigation Sub-Department in Trivandrum, with a violet 35 annas stamp and a circular postmark. The reverse also features an English inscription: 'UNTTOUCHABILITY IS A CRIME AGAINST GOD AND MAN'.
