Pale blue Indian interior postcard with a violet 35 annas stamp featuring the peacock motif, addressed to the Secretary of the Institution of Engineers of India in Calcutta. The reverse shows a circular Calcutta cancellation dated 20 March 1943, along with an English and Hindi slogan: 'Untouchability is a crime against God and man'. The reverse also indicates that no attachments should be included with the mail.
